My heart surgery experience has been referenced as “crossing over” and it creates a peace beyond understanding. It also adds a new depth and sweetness to living. It is very much like what daredevils and thrill seekers come to see, the closeness to death deepens the vitality of life! Once death has been tasted, fear of it leaves and in its absence is life in living color. When death’s fear leaves all other fears lose their sting. One is truly placed in the love embrace of life!

As identification with body dissolves, as distinctions of separation diminish, being beyond form emerges. It is this I am! Being is without restrictions, inhabits all forms, the innermost occupant of all phenomena. Consciously assimilating the knowingness of being is awakening. Awakening to true essence produces joy! Acceptance of this process is the grace of Love. Being in the grace of Love is creation. Creation is continuous. There is no beginning or ending of that which is outside of time. Being in the grace of Love is eternal.

Who am I? Who am I to write things like this?

I am the one who writes this and lives this in me;
And reads and believes in you!
This fearless perspective dictates the realization that I have a body, but I am not my body; I have emotions but I am not my emotions; I have thoughts but I am not my thoughts. By not identifying any of these as who I am , none of these can be master nor must I ever be victim of these. Just as no cloud can claim to own, or control the sky, these faculties are as just passing through. I possess these faculties, but my attention emanates from and reports to the calm, quiet, still witness within. I step beyond the confines of body lodged in space time, memories and their product personality. I step out of the path of suffering. I choose to refer to this as presence, essence, source, where the infinite resides in a finite form. Seeing all phenomena as different emanations of this same source, this same consciousness, stirs the vibrantly alive peace I know of as joy. It is this I am. Realizing, as I must, that consciousness, the essence of all life is being beyond form I identify this as presence. It reveals itself as simple and natural, to accept all life as it is, love all life just as it is.
Seeing in this way is an Alchemical resolution, as it is a result of transforming the carbon based human; conditioned, fearful and suffering person, into the splendid golden still loving and peaceful emanation of pure being.! Inner-vision is the sight of immersion in Being. Embracing life with still peaceful love ends fear!
